6 July 2023 | Tennis Victoria

Winter has arrived in Victoria, but tennis across the state is heating up!

State Grade is in full swing coming off the Saturday June 17 ‘Super Round’ which saw all teams playing their fixtures across two venues: Albert Reserve and Beaumaris LTC. There was fantastic tennis on show, with many spectators braving the cold, windy conditions to cheer on their clubs. The next Super Round is locked in for August 12, so be sure to save the date to watch the action at North Ringwood and Oak Park. If you’d like to catch-up on results or upcoming fixtures, tune into Tennis Victoria’s The State Grade Show which airs every Wednesday.

Tennis Victoria Pennant partnered with The Push Up Challenge throughout June to create awareness about mental health.  Thank you to all pennant teams and our staff who supported such an important initiative.

The Victorian Sports Awards for 2022 were announced at Marvel Stadium on Wednesday 7 June, 2023. We were proud to have 8 incredible nominees from Tennis Victoria, with 3 winners taking out the top prize. A huge congratulations to our Finalists and Award winners on your outstanding achievements – learn more about them here.

The 2023 Australian Team Championships saw some of our best Victorian junior athletes vying against other states to become champions. Congratulations to all teams who competed, particularly our 13/u and 15/u Boys teams who were winners of their section!
