Tennis Victoria has awarded Life Membership to Larraine McLean.

Larraine (Larry) was the Chair of the Tennis Victoria Junior Pennant Committee/ Vic Junior Competition Committee from 2003-2014. She was also a member of the Tennis Victoria Competitions Committee from 2015-2016.

Larry was the Association Delegate to Tennis Victoria for Caulfield Carrum Tennis Association which then became Bayside Regional Tennis Association from at least 1997-2014. She has been a committee member of Bayside Regional TA since 2000, including 8 years as Vice President. Larry was a member of Caulfield Carrum TA committee prior to the formation of Bayside.

When presented with her Life Membership, Larry stated she got into tennis, like most people, through her children and is still involved to this day. Larry has been active in recruiting other volunteers to Bayside Regional and the Junior Pennant Committee to ensure the continuation of tennis competitions. She also acknowledged the many friendships she has forged over the years in tennis.
