The Annual Castlemaine District SSV (School Sport Victoria) HotShots Day was held last week at Castlemaine Lawn Tennis Club and saw 240 young players take to the courts for an action packed day.

The schools that were involved include Castlemaine PS, Castlemaine North PS, Taradale PS, Maldon PS, St Marys PS, Harcourt PS, Campbell’s Creek PS, Winters Flat PS, Chewton PS,  Elphinstone PS and Castlemaine Steiner School.

It’s a fantastic partnership between Tennis Victoria, Tennis Australia the local school, club and coach which have seen an uplift in participation on the back of this event.

We look forward to delivering the event in 2024 and beyond, and continuing to support tennis in our local communities.
