The 2024 12/u & 14/u Australian Grasscourt Championships took place between 2 – 6 January in Mildura at the Mildura Lawn Tennis Club.
The Victorians were victorious taking a clean sweep of the 12/u Singles titles with Novak Palombo (Boys) and Musemma Cilek (Girls) taking both titles.
Queenslander Brooke Komorowski and Lucas Han from New South Wales claimed the 14/u Singles Championships.

Victorian Eleni Makantasis paired with Suri Suchovsky (South Aus) to take the 12/u Girls’ Doubles title over fellow Victorian Mieka Gordon-Threatt and Ami Dalla Pozza (NSW).
In the 14/u Boys’ Doubles final, the Victorian pair of Ayaan Chowdhary and George Wills were runners up to Flynn Coventry-Searle (NSW) and Heaton Pann (Qld) going down 4-6 7-6(4) 7-10. Pauline Ma (Vic) and partner Emilie Chen (NSW) were also finalists to the NSW pair of Bhavya Bhardwaj and Brooke Komorowski in the 14/u Girls’ Doubles final.
Before the tournament, Mildura Lawn Tennis Club were named the Victorian Affiliate of the Month for January 2024 for their dedication to recovering from the devastating floods a year ago to then be hosting this important event. Well done to all involved at the Club for such a fantastic achievement.
