Former Tennis Victoria Director (2015-2021) Anna Jones-Speedie is one of five tennis community Victorians recognised in the Australia Day Honours List.

Anna Jones-Speedie was recognised for her service to local government, and to the community of Wodonga. Having been Mayor of the Wodonga Council from 2015-2020, Director of Tennis Victoria between 2015-21, and sitting on the chair of several Foundations, Anna has been a strong leader within the Victorian community.

Mr George Leslie Bird from Inverloch received Australia Day honours for his longtime service to the Wonthaggi community. He has been an active member and held leadership roles in the Wonthaggi Lions Club since 1961. Mr Bird also is a Foundation member at Lance Creek Tennis Club, Wonthaggi Orchid Society, and formerly served on the Board of the Wonthaggi Anglican Church.

Wendy Joy Hewitt from Warracknabeal was recognised with a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the General Division Ms for service to the community of Warracknabeal, and to education. At Anzac Park Tennis Centre, Warracknabeal she is a Former President, Former Secretary, Former Committee Member, Former Junior Tennis Coordinator and current life member.

Sandra Elizabeth Knight from Burwood East was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her service to people who are blind or have low vision. She worked with Vision Australia from 2000-2009 and volunteered with Blind Sports and Recreation Victoria between 2010-2021. She was also an active participant in Blind Tennis from 2014-2019.

Janet (Jan) Mock from Porepunkah was recognised with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her service to the community of the Alpine Shire. Janet is a Heritage Network member of the Alpine Shire, while also being a former Committee and Club Official at Myrtleford Tennis Club.
