Congratulations to John Goode from St Arnaud Lawn Tennis Club who is the Community Champion of the Month for April 2024.

John was presented with the Kara Kara Ward Senior Citizen of the Year award at the Northern Grampians Shire Council Australia Day Awards. John was nominated to recognise his years of service he has dedicated to the clubs and community of St Arnaud.

A quiet and unassuming person who gets the job done; John is described as the ultimate club member with fastidious attention to detail.

John is the man behind the quality grass courts at St Arnaud. He is a past President, junior tennis coordinator/coach and a tireless worker who enables the availability of tennis for the local community.
