Congratulations to the May Affiliate of the Month, Phillip Island Tennis Club.
The Phillip Island has just celebrated turning 70 by hosting a free family fun day with a 1950s theme including 50s style racquets, music, food and trivia. And of course no birthday celebration is complete without cake and a lot of reminiscing.
There’s a wide range of social tennis offerings at the Phillip Island Tennis Club including ladies morning tennis, night social, men’s afternoon and a mixed social on a Saturday afternoon.
The club has junior competitions and their section 5 team recently celebrated winning the Grand Final of the local summer competition.
With limited courts available at their facility in Cowes, the club has set up a reciprocal rights add on to their memberships which provides members with access to Westernport Tennis Club as well – a win for both clubs.
With Book a Court also available, next time you’re visiting the penguins, go and have a hit at the Phillip Island Tennis Club as well.
