The Victorian tennis community mourns the passing of stalwart Jim Sheppard. Jim was a recipient of the Victorian Spirit of Tennis Award in 2005.
Jim passed away on 6 May 2024 just short of his 96th birthday.
Jim’s dedication to tennis was extensive. He served on many committees, including the LTAV (Lawn Tennis Association of Victoria) Council representing Combined Churches.
His keen interest and expertise was in Technical Services, which led to his work with Tennis Australia and the Australian Open.
Jim will be farewelled Thursday 16 May, 10am at LePine Chapel, 741 High Street East Kew.
