The Frank Sedgman Cup was held on the 13rd and 14^th July at the Glen Waverley Sports Hub. The Frank Sedgman Cup is an 11/u team event for Metro Melbourne Associations and Country Regions, with 14 teams of four split into four groups.

Teams play sets of mixed doubles and singles in each match in a round robin format. The standard of tennis was exemplary as teams competed in the round robin matches on the Saturday to gain a spot in the finals on the Sunday.

Unfortunately, Melbourne’s inclement weather and treacherous rain put a halt to proceedings, with the finals unable to take place on the Sunday.

Congratulations to all teams and players who competed and hopefully the weather looks after us better next time.
