Congratulations to Chris Thomson from Eastern Region Tennis (ERT) who is the Community Champion of the Month for August 2024.

Chris is an instrumental part of ERT’s representative teams. Over the past couple of months, he has coordinated 21 ERT team registrations for the Tennis Victoria Associations Junior Pennant – catering for over 140 players.

As part of Chris’ role, he takes player registrations, organises venues for each team, liaises with parents and other Association staff, and recruits and organises team managers.

The success of the Tennis Victoria Associations Junior Pennant competition is thanks to volunteers like Chris who work tirelessly to get the talented junior players on court each Sunday morning.
