Congratulations to the September Affiliate of the Month – Research Tennis Club.

Located amongst the trees in the picturesque Research Park, the Research Tennis Club is about the fun and health of tennis. With the usual traditional tennis offerings of coaching and competition available, the Research Tennis Club was recently approached by a member of the community who was willing to organise and run weekly Pickleball sessions at the club. After deep consideration and multiple discussions workshopping the idea, as a club, they decided to go ahead.

The promotion of this new product at the club saw excellent uptake within the local community. Pickleball is now a self-sufficient product and has led to a noticeable spike in new members joining the club, specifically to play Pickleball.

The Research Tennis Club is looking at implementing specific Pickleball court bookings through their Book a Court system which will also include equipment hire. They are also exploring how else the club can expand on this great offering.
