Host a Community Endorsed Tournament in 2025 – Applications Now Open!

Victoria’s Community Endorsed Tournaments are on the rise, offering clubs and associations the perfect opportunity to showcase local talent and foster community engagement. These tournaments, which are distinct from the Junior Tour and Open Series, form the foundation of our broader tournament pathway.

Why Host a Community Endorsed Tournament?

Community Endorsed tournaments can take many forms including Club Championships, Club / Association Tournaments, single day tournaments or mass participation tournaments (e.g. Easter, Labour Day or other long weekend tournaments). These tournaments are designed to be flexible, allowing clubs to provide a localised first step for juniors or adults in their community.

Whilst there is no requirement to have officials at this level of tournament, support can be arranged in consultation with Tennis Vic and Tennis Australia. In 2025, there will again be no sanctioning fee associated with Community Endorsed Tournaments. Plus, all endorsed tournaments will contribute to a player’s UTR rating.

If you wish to host a Community Endorsed Tournament in 2025, you will need to submit your application form prior to 27 September 2024.

Please note, all applications must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the tournament’s start date. If you are not ready to apply by November, don’t worry – another application window will open in May 2025.
