Regional Team Events are held across Victoria each year for teams from our 11 country regions. These prestigious team events showcase emerging junior talent and provide players with the opportunity to represent their region in a team environment. The selection of athletes for each team is based on merit and the individual selection processes within each association and region.

• Players represent their region In 10/u, 12/u, 14/u and Junior Open
• 2 Boys and 2 Girls per age group form a team
• Played over 2 days at a central regional location
• Match formats can very between age groups, depending on total number of entries received.

Qualification for Regional Team Events can vary from region to region. In most cases, player availability and Universal Tennis Ratings are used to select teams.
Often, previous match results or current form are also used. Regional Team Events form part of the qualifying criteria for our Victoria State Team Championships. Players that participate in Regional Team Events may be eligible to participate for their region providing they meet other qualification criteria as well.

Goulburn: 10/u, 12/u, 14/u, JO(18/u)- 16 players

Loddon Campaspe: 10/u, 12/u, 14/u, JO(18/u)- 16 players

Mornington: 10/u, 12/u, 14/u, JO(18/u)- 16 players

North East: 12/u, 14/u, JO(18/u)- 12 players

South West: 12/u, 14/u, JO(18/u)- 12 players

Wimmera:  10/u, 12/u, 14/u, JO(18/u)- 16 players
