The 69th Inter Regional Country Championships will kick off the new year as the first tournament of 2025, taking place from 3 to 5 January at the Mt Prospect Tennis Association.

The event will bring together a total of 217 players who will compete from seven country regions in a unique team style playing format. Across 500+ matches jam-packed into three thrilling days, players will proudly represent their regions. Play is set to commence on Friday 3 January.

The 2025 Inter Regional Country Championships will also be the last stop on the road for Daphne and Norm as part of the AO on the Road before they head to the Australian Open. The added presence of the trophies will bring an extra layer of excitement to the event, as players will get a taste of the AO spirit right in their backyard.

Saturday will see the Mt Prospect Tennis Association transform into a vibrant community hub with food trucks and live entertainment. The weekend will come to a climax in Sunday’s finals, where the champions of this prestigious event will be crowned. With so much high-quality talent and sportsmanship on display, the big question is: Which team will rise to the challenge and claim the coveted title this year?
