As the action unfolds on the first day of Country Week 2025, excitement is already building for the next chapter of this iconic event. The 2025 edition of this much-loved tournament has seen 222 teams and over 1,300 players converge at Swan Hill from 9 – 14 February 2025.

Tennis Victoria is excited to announce that Shepparton will host the 2026 Tennis Victoria Country Week. The event will take place from 8 – 13 February 2026 at the Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club and Mooroopna Recreation Reserve. Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club is known for its outstanding facilities and strong community spirit, making it an excellent venue to host this prestigious event.

Tennis Victoria CEO, Kim Kachel expressed his enthusiasm for bringing Country Week to Shepparton. “We are delighted to announce Shepparton as the host of Country Week in 2026. The Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club has a proud history of supporting tennis and hosting events. Shepparton is already lined up to host the 12/u and 14/u Grasscourt Nationals in December 2026 so it will be a real festival of grass court tennis in Shepparton next summer! We look forward to working with the club and Greater Shepparton City Council to deliver an exceptional tournament. We know Shepparton will provide a warm welcome to players and spectators alike with the event also being a significant driver of economic impact and investment for the region.”

Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Shane Sali shared their excitement about hosting the event. “We are very excited to welcome Tennis Victoria Country Week back to Greater Shepparton in 2026 after a very successful visits of this historic event in 2019 and 2014,” he said. “Unfortunately, due to the October 2022 floods in our region, Shepparton was unable to host the 2023 Country Week, so it is fair to say we are very excited to have this prestigious event back in 2026. I hope all the participants and spectators enjoy their stay in our region.”

Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club President, Kevin Hicks said, “It’s an honour for our club host Country Week 2026 alongside the Shepparton City Council. We are passionate about tennis and proud to showcase Shepparton and our facilities to the broader tennis community. Our courts will be in top condition, as they are today, and we are fully committed to supporting the successful delivery of this event.”

Registrations for Tennis Victoria Country Week 2026 in Shepparton will open mid 2025.
