7 March 2025 | Tennis Victoria

International tennis is making its way to Mildura as the Australian Pro Tour continues at the historic Mildura Lawn Tennis Club from Sunday 9 March to Sunday 16 March.

The 2025 Mildura International is set to showcase an impressive lineup of Aussie talent, featuring notable Australian Open competitors Jason Kubler, Omar Jasika, Dane Sweeny, Blake Ellis, Jaimee Fourlis, Elena Micic and Lizette Cabrera.

Leading the men’s field is Omar Jasika (Vic), the tournament’s No. 1 seed, who recently reached the final of the Burnie International against fellow Aussie Jason Kubler (Qld). Kubler, a former Davis Cup representative and top-100 player, enters the Mildura International fresh off his Burnie M25 and Launceston M25 victory.

Other standouts include Queensland’s No. 3 seed Blake Ellis and multiple time tour winner Dane Sweeny, while regional talent Josh Charlton (Vic) from Traralgon adds local interest to the field.

The women’s draw is equally compelling, headlined by Lizette Cabrera (Qld) who just last week claimed victory against Sakura Hosogi (JPN) at the Launceston International. Cabrera is joined by Victorian favourite Jaimee Fourlis (Vic) who recently reached the semi-final of the Burnie International, while emerging Victorian talent Elena Micic (Vic) is set to make her mark. Gabriella Da Silva Fick (NSW) also returns to the grass, having won the Swan Hill title last year, and will also be competing in Tennis Victoria’s Premier League.

The Mildura International is the first of two grass-court events on the Australian Pro Tour, offering a combined prize pool of USD $60,000 – allocating $30,000 each to the men’s and women’s ITF Futures categories. Participants will also have the opportunity to earn valuable world ranking points on the natural grass courts of Mildura.
