Congratulations to Glenvale Tennis Club for being awarded our Affiliate of the Month for March! Glenvale Tennis Club has experienced remarkable growth since  relocating to the Glen Waverley Sports Hub back in March 2024. With an initial membership of 314, the club saw an incredible surge in interest, signing up 115 new members on Opening Day alone. Recently, almost a year since the relocation, the club surpassed the 500-member milestone, now sitting at 523 club members.

At its peak in mid-2024, membership reached 566, however some players chose not to renew due to difficulties booking one of the club’s eight courts. Recognising this challenge, Glenvale TC worked closely with Monash Council to renegotiate court access, securing the ability to use up to all 18 courts at the venue. As the news spreads that more courts are now available, membership numbers have begun to climb again.

This achievement is a testament to the collaborative efforts of Glendale Tennis Club, Monash Council, and commercial operator BlueFit in ensuring an optimal tennis experience for the community. Congratulations to all involved in making tennis more accessible and enjoyable for players in the region!
