Congratulations to Jane Crozier from Macedon Ranges Tennis Association, our February Community Champion!

Jane played a key role in the success of the inaugural SSV Goldfields District Tennis Red Ball competition, bringing her extensive experience and passion for grassroots tennis to the event.

Having successfully coordinated the SSV Primary Schools competition for over 20 years, Jane embraced the new Red Ball format and ensured the day ran smoothly. The event saw seven schools enter 13 teams, with around 130 children from the Goldfields District participating. Players from Kyneton, Woodend, Hesket, Romsey, and Lancefield all took part in the exciting competition.

Jane’s exceptional coordination and organisation were instrumental in making the event a great success. Many players were new to tennis, and thanks to Jane’s efforts, their first experience on the court was a very positive and welcoming one. Jane’s leadership and commitment have played a vital role in making tennis more accessible, enjoyable and inclusive for children across the region.

Thank you, Jane, for your hard work and dedication to the tennis community – your impact is truly inspiring!
