Club Manager Vacancy – Reabold Tennis Club
The Reabold Tennis Club is one of the leading tennis clubs in Western Australia. The Club enjoys strong membership numbers, participates in various pennant competitions (at senior and junior levels) and has very active social tennis programs that accommodate all ages and standards.
The Club has nine grass courts, eight plexi-cushion courts with floodlights, a clubhouse with high quality kitchen facilities, a manager’s office, and a boardroom.
The Club has contracted Total Tennis to provide the coaching and tennis development services to Club members and others seeking to learn &/or improve their tennis. In addition, the Club has three Padel tennis courts on the precinct, and this sport is gaining popularity all the time.
The Club is seeking to appoint a Club Manager who will help oversee the tennis activities, management, promotion, and administration of the Club.
The role will require the person to adopt a ‘hands on’ approach to many of the functions and to be proactive in progressing the interests of the Club. There will be a need to work flexible hours that can accommodate the tennis and social activities of the Club, including Saturday afternoons. However, compensating time off will be provided where appropriate. The person will need to effectively engage with members and other stakeholders. Sound IT skills and basic bookkeeping skills are required and an interest in and knowledge of tennis is essential.
An attractive remuneration package that includes retainer and incentives will be offered to the successful applicant.
Expressions of interest should be forwarded to the following:
