EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST TO JOIN THE TENNIS WEST COMPETITION COMMITTEE
In line with the Tennis West Governance Policy, encouraging rotation of Competition Committee (CC) members, the Tennis West Board is looking to appoint two (2) new members to the CC, which provides strategic direction and oversight to the Tennis League and Tournament operations of Tennis West.
Nominations are for a two (2) year term. The CC comprises one Tennis West Board Director, Hayden Gibson, who takes the role of Chairperson, two (2) Tennis West Competition staff, including Competition Manager Loretta Hughes and three (3) club representatives, for which 2 nominations are herein requested.
Committee members should preferably have knowledge and experience in a particular area of the Tennis League competition (eg Junior League, State League, Night League etc) and/ or Tournaments.
CC members need to be prepared to attend an average of one meeting per month (general CC meetings, forums and other meetings as organised as required) and be willing to respond to urgent matters promptly by email.
The Board is asking clubs to nominate suitably qualified and enthusiastic club members who are willing to be considered for appointment to the CC.
