The Brikmakers Winter League began on 11 May and 3 rounds have been completed.
Two new playing opportunities were offered this season. The Monday night singles and doubles league was eagerly embraced with 30 teams signing up to play the new short format and great feedback has been received. Never before has a new initiative been so well accepted. The Tuesday Morning Women are also playing a shorter format which works well for the time-poor.
Junior Orange Ball has continued for the winter and the MLC Tennis Hot Shot Leagues have been the biggest growth area, followed by Night Leagues.
A record 455 teams enrolled for Brikmakers Winter League in 2013, involving almost 3000 players. The Brikmakers Summer League has twice as many, making league in WA the largest in Australia!
