National Academy Perth Athlete – Maddison Inglis won her second Junior ITF Singles Title last week by winning the Strive4College Winter Junior International in Kawana, QLD.
Maddison had to win six matches in a rain-interrupted week to capture the title that will see her World Ranking rise to just outside the world’s top 200 (18 and under) when the latest rankings come out next week.
Anja Dokic who is also a member of the National Academy Perth won the doubles title this week with her partner – Lizette Cabrera from Queensland. Anja’s has shown consistent singles results over the past two weeks by reaching the Semi-Final and Quarterfinals respectively. Anja’s world Ranking is set to rise inside the world’s top 320.
National Academy Athletes – Scott Jones and Jack Lyttle reached the Quarterfinal in the boy’s doubles event after falling to the top seeds. Scott also reached the Round of 16 in the singles event.
