The ATL is a new and innovative tennis league that will bring together teams of men and women from across the Asia-Pacific region.
How will the ATL work?
Domestically, the ATL will consist of five conferences (SA, WA Vic, NSW/ACT and Qld) made up of 28 men’s and 28 women’s teams competing for their conference championship.
Conference champions progress to the ATL Play-offs, which will be hosted at Melbourne Park during the second week of the Australian Open.
This year the ATL is working with the Asia-Pacific region to host three teams from outside Australia at the ATL Play-offs. Thus, the eight-team play-offs for both the men’s and women’s competitions will feature players from around the Asia-Pacific region
