In May, TennisWest advised that St John Ambulance Western Australia, supported by Lotterywest, had 100 free defibrillators to give away to non-profit organisations. St John Ambulance received close to 600 applications and the Corinthian Park Tennis Club were successful. All successful applicants can be viewed at www.stjohnambulance.net.au.
If your organisation was unsuccessful but may be interested in purchasing a defibrillator, St John Ambulance has negotiated a not-for-profit subsidy to try and make defibrillators a little more affordable for non-profit groups.
