The Centre Courts at the State Tennis Centre have recently undergone a facelift.

Courts 1, 2 and 3 have been resurfaced with Plexicushion in the Australian Open True Blue colour scheme. This brings the courts into line with those played on by the world’s top tennis players during the Australian Open, Hyundai Hopman Cup and other Australian Open Series events around the country.

The resurfacing project was completed within only two weeks, and the above photos show a comparison of the courts on the first and final days of the work.

The newly resurfaced courts will be used as a training venue for players during the upcoming 2014 Hyundai Hopman Cup.
