As a new addition to the newsletter we will be providing an update on how Tennis West are helping  clubs across the state grow and prosper.

Some practical examples of the different Tennis West departments are contributing to our vision of “Growing Great Clubs” can be found below.

• Tournaments and Competitions
  Collated data on trends that may assist a metro club to build a stronger night competition
• Community Tennis
  Assisted a club with the planning and proposal to local government for the construction of two dedicated Hotshot courts (shown in picture above)
• Tennis Business
  Advised a club committee on best practices surrounding the negotiation and agreement of a Head Coach contract
• Player Development
  National Coach provided feedback and coaching assistance to a club coach in the coaches environment on players entering the performance pathway
• Coach Development
  The Junior Development Coaching course is nearing completion, providing club coaches with skilled assistant coaches having a nationally recognised qualification
