Casey Dellacqua has upset 13th seed Roberta Vinci to reach the fourth round at the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells.
For the second straight match, Dellacqua recovered from the loss of the first set, going on to record a 4-6 6-4 6-3 victory.
Although she missed an opportunity to close out the match on serve when leading 5-2, Dellacqua played an exquisite final game of the match, producing lob and backhand winners and, finally, an overhead winner to complete the contest in style.
Dellacqua will next meet the winner of the match between American Varvara Lepchenko and Lauren Davis.
The Australian has now won five straight matches at the event after coming through qualifying.
