The World Games are the pinnacle event for Special Olympics athletes and we are seeking volunteers who have the experience and ability to provide an inclusive environment where athletes are encouraged and given all opportunities to reach their personal best on a world stage.
All officials must be available to attend an Officials Camp in early 2015 and Team Training Camp in March 2015, with the potential for a second Team Training Camp in June 2015. The role will also include overseas travel to Los Angeles during the dates of the Games, 19 July to 3 August 2015 (exact dates TBC).
Team Australia will be taking athletes to compete in the following sports; Athletics, Aquatics, Basketball, Bocce, Bowling, Equestrian, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Sailing, Softball and Tennis.
