National Academy athletes – Louis Corker and Maddison Inglis have been selected on a Tennis Australia International Tour to compete in ITF Junior events in Europe.
Louis will be competing in four ITF Grade 4 events in Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland throughout July while Maddy will be playing ITF Grade 1 and 2 events in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria.
Scott Jones will be flying to Bangkok, Thailand to compete in two Junior ITF Grade 4 hard court events in an attempt to lower his ranking leading into the Australian Open in January.
The ITF Junior events allow juniors to play competitive matches against international players while gaining ranking points that help bring together the best players in the world to compete in the junior Grand Slam events.
National Academy Manager – Andrew Roberts will be travelling to Europe with Louis and Maddy as the tour coach.
