It is with great pleasure that Tennis West congratulates Applecross Senior High School on winning the Ultimate School Challenge for Western Australia.

Applecross SHS now has $5,000 to spend on either tennis equipment, line marking, costs to repair court surfaces, tennis teaching resources or anything else tennis related that the school may need.

400 students participated in the Ultimate School Challenge at Applecross SHS  in a range of activities including staff/student mini red challenges, a class vs class mini red challenge, fastest serve competitions and many tennis games on full court with yellow balls including “All on Court” Around the world.
There was also a sausage sizzle at lunch time and staff dressed up as their favourite tennis player.

The High School also raised $383.20 for Tennis Australia’s Official Charities – the National Breast and Prostate Cancer Network
