The Community Tennis Team at Tennis West recently delivered the SunSmart Tennis Tour of Tom Price.

Community Tennis Officer, Ardian Fazliu, flew to Tom Price to deliver Tennis Australia’s grassroots tennis program, ANZ Tennis Hot Shots to the local community. Ardian introduced ANZ Tennis Hot Shots to over 300 students through visiting Tom Price Primary School, North Tom Price Primary School and Tom Price Senior High School. All students took to tennis incredibly quickly with some students participating in tennis for the first time. Ardian thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to travel to the north of WA saying “there is a great sense of community in Tom Price and I was really impressed with the level of maturity and gratitude displayed by all students”.

Tennis West also delivered an Introduction to ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Coaching Course at the Tom Price Tennis Club to 11 participants, including clubs members, local Government representatives, keen parents, and school teachers, who were all willing to learn and experience what the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots program could offer to students of all ages and abilities.
