There is currently a casual vacancy on the Board as a result of Mr Warren Harding’s election to Vice President. This vacancy will be filled by the Board in due course.

Tennis West President, Wayne Firns is honoured to take on the role of President, and paid tribute to former President, Greg Hutchisnon.

“It is a great honour for me to have become the 19th President of Tennis West, and congratulations to Warren, Ray and Ian on their election. Special thanks to Greg Hutchinson for the service he gave Tennis West during his Presidency. I look forward to working with our volunteer Board, Staff and Clubs to help grow this great sport in WA,” he said.

The Board and Staff would like to congratulate all successful candidates and extend our congratulations and thanks to former President, Mr Greg Hutchinson who was last week elected to the Tennis Australia Board of Directors. I am sure that all affiliates would join me in recognising Greg on his outstanding service to Tennis West as President and congratulate him on his election to the Tennis Australia Board. His record of achievement and leadership of the organisation speaks for itself.

We would also like to thank and acknowledge the hard work and commitment of Mr Tony Glass, who stepped down from the Board after many years of dedicated service, particularly in regards to the State Tennis Centre redevelopment.

The minutes from the AGM will be distributed in the coming weeks.
