Team WA have put on a dominant display to finish Bronze Medallists at the 2016 School Sport Australia Championships – the Pizzey Cup. The event was held in Albury NSW from the 30 April – 8 May with sixteen WA secondary school given the opportunity to represent their state at the prestigious national schools tennis championships

WA finished with one of their best results in recent history, after losing only two of their seven matches throughout the week. Not only were the team dominant on the court, their team culture and camaraderie during the event was second to none.

Four WA Athletes were also named as “All Australian” representatives. Congratulations to Tom Hann, Ollie Henderson, Maddy Muller-Hughes and Lexie Weir on this fantastic achievement.
