As recently advised by Tennis Australia, the Asia-Pacific Tennis League (ATL) will not be held in the foreseeable future.
Tennis Australia, along with its Member Associations, recently conducted a review of all current programs, products and strategic priorities. This review highlighted a significant opportunity to focus investment into grassroots team tennis.
After careful consideration, it was decided the current investment into the ATL would be re-directed into these future generations. The long-term opportunities and benefits of supporting our youth at a grassroots level has been identified as a priority.
Tennis Australia, along with its Member Associations, acknowledges that Players, Team Managers, Coaches, Clubs, Associations, Communities, Sponsors and Member Associations have all contributed to create and deliver the ATL.
We sincerely appreciate the time, effort and passion that has been invested over the past five years.
Tennis Australia, along with its Member Associations, are committed to working collaboratively throughout this period. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
From a WA perspective, the Men’s and Women’s State League forms the pinnacle of team competition in WA. This league offers a high standard of competition, and Tennis West is steadfast in its desire to continue to resource State League as an income earning opportunity for our elite players.
