WHAT IS A FREE TENNIS DAY?

Free Tennis Days are about opening your club to your local community and encouraging people of all ages and abilities to pick up a racquet and have a hit.

We encourage clubs to invite their local community to come and try tennis in a relaxed, fun and social atmosphere. Some examples of activities clubs may run on the day are: ANZ Tennis Hot Shots, Fitbit Cardio Tennis, Free Coaching Sessions, Hit the Target, BBQ, Mini Comps, Social Tennis, Return the Coaches serve.

WHY SHOULD MY CLUB SIGN UP?

By doing so you will receive the following benefits….

• Free Club Resources – including Promotional Poster templates, signage templates, media release templates and how-to-guides
• A Free Tennis Day Merchandise Pack with lots of goodies and giveaways for the club to use on the day
• Free Tennis Day Website – Free promotion on the Free Tennis Day Website – com.au/freetennisdays
• Australian Open Player Draw – All clubs who run a Free Tennis Day on or before Sunday 4 December will go in the ballot for their town to be aligned with an Australian Open player.  The towns aligned to the winning players will win $5000 cash.  Terms and Conditions for the ballot are attached.
• Social Media Promotion – Share your Free Tennis Day on Facebook and use the email function to invite people to your event.
