The boys Camp Courage was held over the weekend from February 17-20. State Coach Len Cannell was the Camp Leader with the help of Talent Development Manager Damien Ward, Mitch Pleydell and Brandon Giles.

The boys camp included Ethan Cooke, Tristan Schoolkate, Matthew De Groot, Derek Pham, James Newton, Tyler Mizuhata, Gen Naraya, William Shepherd and Jerome Iaconi. Margaret River Tennis Club was the location for the camp with the theme ‘Resilience’.

Activities over the weekend included four on court tennis sessions, duathlon (paddling and running), mountain biking in Boranup Forest, the world famous cape to cape 18km hike across beach terrain, team building activities, resilience themed movies, forest adventure zip lining and sand dune physical activities. The boys had a great time and learnt some valuable life lessons on resilience and team work. The girls camp will be held this weekend from February 24-27 also at Margaret River.
