Tennis Australia launched the new Participation delivery model in June that has seen Australia broken up into “regions” determined by population, tennis clubs and schools. Each region will have its own development plan that will be delivered by an increased number of staff. For WA this means we will be bringing in FIVE new staff, two based at the Tennis West headquarters in Perth, and for the first time, we will also have three staff based in regional WA. One staff member will be located in in Geraldton to service the Northern regional corridor and two in Busselton to service the South West and Great Southern regional corridor. These roles will also see new business management skills being brought into our organisation to work closely with our clubs.
This is an exciting time for Tennis in WA, and our Participation Team are eager to work with your club to grow participation, diversify our playing base and optimise your tennis facility.
