Tennis West is pleased to announce the appointment of Rod Van as President. This follows the end of Jan Truscott’s 2 years in the role. Jan will stay on the Tennis West Board as a Director.

“It has been an honour and a privilege to lead this amazing organisation and team,” Ms Truscott said.

“I am delighted to be handing over the Presidency to Rod. I congratulate Rod on his appointment and look forward to continuing to work alongside him in the future.”

Elected to the Presidency by the Tennis West Board, Rod Van is an experienced business leader with a strong financial background. Rod is the Managing Director of RVan Consulting. Working across a broad range of industries delivering strategic planning advice, non-executive Director advisory services, project consultation and business mentoring. Rod has been a member of the Board since 2018 and was recently re-elected for a 3-year term at the 2021 Tennis West AGM.

“I am thrilled and proud to be appointed to the role of Tennis West President. I look forward to leading the Board, working together with Tennis West’s CEO Brett Patten, affiliates and stakeholders to create a bright future for Tennis in WA,” Mr Van said.

Rod will be supported by a new Vice President, Dr Pam Cresswell. Pam has been a member of the Tennis West Board since October 2019 and is Chair of the Tennis Governance and Risk Committee.
