The 2023 Tennis Seniors WA State Seniors Championships took place at Nedlands Tennis Club over four days from the 21st – 24th April.
This event, previously held in December and coincided with the ITF Masters MT 200 event, was moved to April to split up the two events.
198 players participated in over 25 events with a total of 350 matches played. Friday and Monday consisted of the singles divisions and Saturday and Sunday held the men’s, ladies, and mixed doubles.
With near perfect weather over all four days, the event was much enjoyed by all players and spectators with Nedlands Tennis Club hosting a Champagne tasting table and tasting platters.
The Seniors event concluded what was a busy Easter and Term One school holiday period with over 1800 participants playing over 12 events.
